Trimester 2
Week 1&2:
- Launch Ms Office Excel 2007
- Introduced to the program's interface
- Identify the cell address
- Color the cell's background color
- Enter numbers into the cells
- Find the total of 2 numbers
- Close the file
- Launch Ms Office Excel 2007
- Highlight range of cells
- Enter data & format it (Change the font style, size & color)
- Practice more and more on using the addition formula
Week 5&6:
- Access the Internet / Save clip art apple, banana, shark, nemo & octopus in their folders- Insert pictures into an Excel spreadsheet
- Resize pictures
- Copy / Paste pictures
- Word independently to find the totals of some numbers
- Save the file
Trimester 1
It’s really necessary that kids practice at home the skills they learn to follow up with me every session and kindly make sure that students get all the IT printouts in their computer files every week cause they are graded on their portfolios.
- Launch Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
- Type their names & class in English
- Type their initials in capital letter
- Draw random shapes such as (smiley face, heart, circle.....................)
- Color these shapes
Week 3
- Create a presentation using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
- Use shapes to draw a house with a door, 2 windows, tree, sun & some clouds ................. etc
- Type their names using "WordArt" button and then change the font style , size & color.
- Save the presentation
Week 4 & 5
- Create two presentations using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
- Use shapes to draw a train
- Copy / Paste the wheels and the train carriages
- Use shapes to draw a boy or a girl- Fill these shapes with solid colors
- Type their names using "WordArt" button and then change the font style , size & color.
- Save the presentations in their folders
Week 7 & 8
- Animate objects in PowerPoint like text and shapes through Animations → Custom Animation.
- Save cartoon movies pictures from the Internet in their folders by:
1) Start → Internet.
2) Type www.google.com in the address bar.
3) Click "Images" link.
4) Type the name of the cartoon movie such as finding nemo or ice age............etc in the search box.
5) Press "Enter" in the keyboard.
6) Click the picture you like to enlarge in a new window.
7) Right click on the picture → Save Picture As → Choose the location or the folder you want to save in → Click "Save".
Week 9 & 10
- Create a PowerPoint presentation displaying some clip art pets like cats and dogs.
- Access the Internet and save clip art cat and clip art dog.
1) Home → Layout to change the slide layout to "Blank".
2) Insert → Picture to insert these pictures into the presentation.
3) Insert → WordArt to type their names.
4) Click and drag the textbox to be able to move your name.
5) To change the font style, size and color of your name, Highlight your name then press "Home" Tab.
6) Office Button → Save to save the presentation in your folder.
Note:-
If you want to access the Internet and search for coloring pictures to color them, follow the same steps written in Week 7&8 but type in the search box "coloring pages Disney" or "coloring pages ice age"
Week 7 & 8
